Artist Biography
Julian graduated with a BA Hons in Ceramic Design from Duncan of Jordanstone Art College in Dundee in 1991. In 1993 he established his own business working as a ceramic sculptor, his work based on his love of wild animals. He worked as a tutor at Dudhope Art Centre in Dundee for 5 years and holding numerous workshops enabling young people to experience working with clay, as well as exhibiting his own work. In 1997 he became artist in residence at Worcester Centre for Craft in Massachusetts USA. On returning to the UK, he established his own gallery and continues to takes commissions and exhibit widely across the UK.
