“Captivating intricacy….”
Thomas Alabaster
East Anglian sculptor Thomas Alabaster creates wonderfully intricate British marine fish in bronze using the age old process of wax casting by hand in his Suffolk foundry. A mould is made from the original fish before pouring in molten bronze at over 1000 degrees Celsius. Following further hand finishing, the final piece is mounted on aged lime treated oak.
