“Steve’s graphic style perfectly captures a sense of place”
Steve Read
Steve Read drew his inspiration from Cornwall, where he grew up. He was taught at school by John Piper and then studied at Falmouth School of Art in 1987. He worked for a time in Design and Advertising in London and Amsterdam before returning to the Dorset coast in 2003 where he continues to draw inspiration for his painting.
His bold, graphic style is very popular and lends itself well to our wonderful coastline here in Suffolk and our coastal town and famous lighthouse.
We are delighted that Steve strives to produce paintings that our customers love and delivers original paintings to our gallery on a regular basis.
